So why is Lego successful compared to the rest?
👋Partnerships: Lego has led successful partnerships with the likes of Sar Wars, Harry Potter and now Epic Games. - Lego is planning to launch a child-friendly version of the Metaverse following an investment made by the videogame developer last year.
🧓No Age Discrimination - Lego’s target market for kids ranges from 1 to 15 years old, with children 9 to 10 being their ideal market. However, Lego stores also have adult sections occupying about 1/3 of their manhattan store locations. If you watch the popular show Abbott Elementry, you will even see the popular lego flower set for valentines day.
👷♀️Supplier Power: Lego has 5 supply chains located in 3 major markets, which allows for flexibility. (Supply chains are the factories that make your favorite legos before they are sent to the store or your house!) - They are expanding to 7 supply chain networks in 2022, including Vietnam and the US.
🌎Sustainable packaging & recycled Legos help reduce costs and eliminate waste. - Lego started to remove Single-use plastic, and they introduced paper-based Pick-a-Brick cups in LEGO Brand Retail stores.
